1. What Upfold is
Upfold (upfold.me) publishes short online courses made of narrated slides, an AI tutor and quizzes. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Your account
You need an account to enrol in a course, keep your progress and take quizzes. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Courses and access
The first lecture of each course is free to preview. Enrolling gives you personal, non-transferable access to that course for as long as Upfold offers it. Course content is for your own learning: do not copy, resell or redistribute slides, transcripts, voice-overs or quizzes.
4. Prices and payment
Course prices are shown on each course page in US dollars. While Upfold is in early access, enrolment is free and no payment is taken. When payments open, the price you pay is the one shown at checkout and is a one-time charge.
5. The AI tutor
The tutor answers questions using an AI model and the slide you are on. Its answers can be wrong or incomplete, so check anything you rely on. Do not share personal data about other people, or anything confidential, in tutor questions.
6. Acceptable use
Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the site, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Changes and availability
We update courses, add new ones and sometimes retire old ones. We try to keep the site available but cannot promise it will always be. We may change these terms; the date above shows the current version.
8. Liability
Upfold is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the site or its content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
